There are many different things to do on campus such as joining a student organization, an extracurricular activity, or a sports team. Below is a list of several ways a student could get involved on campus.

I am currently a Senior at Johnson University with a major in Non-Profit Administration and a minor in Communications. I will be graduating this April and I plan to get a Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.

According to research by the Gallup organization, being “extremely active in extracurricular activities and organizations” is one of the six key experiences in college that result in future engagement and success in the workplace. This experience makes graduates 1.8x more likely to be engaged in their work. Unfortunately, only 20% of college graduates have had this experience. So, involvement in extracurricular activities is important not only for the here and now but for future success and satisfaction also.
