Knoxville —Friday, Johnson University’s Student Government Association and Fellowship of Christian Athletes are hosting a fall bash and concert for students and the Knoxville community.

The fall bash will begin outside the Gally Commons with games, music and food. At 6:30 p.m., in the PW gymnasium, rapper Aaron Cole will perform a free concert hosted by FCA.

Matt Mangrum, a JUTN sophomore and FCA representative, said that the idea behind this event is to bring people together.

Mangrum met Cole in high school. Cole writes music about his life struggles and his relationship with Christ.

Mangrum said that at 18 years old, Cole is an inspiration to others.

“It shows that if you’re serious about your faith, you can do a lot of things, even if you’re young,” he said.

All JUTN students, faculty and staff are welcome.
