KNOXVILLE — Johnson students got the opportunity to serve in various places throughout the community for K-17. This year, Central High School was added to the list of service sites. A few students went to Central to help organize their clothes closet and assist in office work.

Jordan Hess, JU junior, said she enjoyed her third service day experience.

“It’s nice— I’m really enjoying it,” Hess said. “I like folding and it’s nice to see where some of my friends grew up and just the people that helped them develop.”

This was a great opportunity for students to engage in the greater Knoxville community.
