KNOXVILLE — Singer/songwriter Andrew Peterson is beginning his yearly Behold the Lamb of God tour at the Bijou theater on Nov. 30
The concert is slated for 7 p.m. Nov. 30 and will tell the Christmas story through art and music.
“It’s more than a concert,” Olivia Martin, who is heading up publicity at JUTN, said. “It’s a night of conversation and song and art, all focused around the Christmas story.”
Martin said she believes that the Behold the Lamb of God event will help build up the community in Knoxville.
“I think that anytime we gather to reflect, absorb and perform art and song together is really special,” Martin said. “It creates a really special bond between people, and I think it’s a great opportunity.”
Martin said she encourages all JUTN students to attend.
“I think that once you go and experience Behold the Lamb of God, you’ll know — You’ll know,” Martin said. “So, I would say that you should allow yourself the chance to experience it.”
One hundred tickets have been set aside for Johnson students. The tickets are expected to be sold quickly. Tickets to the event cost $25 and all JU students are invited.
