P1130833KNOXVILLE— Johnson students had the opportunity to go out and serve their community for K-17. This year a group went to serve the Emerald Youth Foundation by moving furniture and supplies from the organization’s old location to its new one.

JU freshman Chloe Maestas said she really enjoyed her first service day.


“I enjoy getting to work together and seeing the progress we’re making,” Maestas said. “And it’s really cool that we’re helping kids by doing this.”

Despite the heat and the heavy lifting, Johnson students happily did whatever they could to help the Emerald Youth Foundation.
