Orange and Black Affair to be held Nov. 1

KNOXVILLE – Student Government Association’s Orange and Black Affair is being held Nov. 1, from 6 to 10 PM, on Johnson University’s Tennessee campus at the Athletic Recreation Center.

The Orange and Black Affair is a Halloween celebration planned by SGA’s Major Events Committee. While things will look different this year, the Major Events Committee has planned several activities that will adhere to social-distancing guidelines.

“I am so excited for this year,” SGA’s Director of Major Events, Kayla Senor said. “This year people can look forward to trunk or treat, new games, a costume contest, and a haunted forest, as well as many other cool things.”

The Orange and Black Affair will be held outside this year for the safety and social distancing of all involved.

Trunk or Treat and snacks will begin at 6 PM. The costume contest will begin at 7 PM. The haunted forest will begin at 7:30 PM.

Students are invited to grab a costume and a mask and take part in all the activities offered this Sunday evening.
