Johnson University to host online Homecoming, Feb. 23-25

KNOXVILLE- Johnson University will be hosting Homecoming all online this year starting Feb. 23, and going through on Feb. 25.

Johnson’s goal for this event is to gather alumni together to continue to stay connected with the University’s “uncommon community,” even after graduation.

This Homecoming will also celebrate the 50th reunion of the class of 1971.

The theme for this year, “One,” will focus on how each one of us can make a difference for the One.

This year’s Homecoming will surround the theme of “ONE,” and making a difference for the One, Christ.

Bo Chancey, senior pastor of Manchester Christian Church in New Hampshire, will be the main speaker for Homecoming.

“He is a very engaging, dynamic, and passionate communicator,” Tyson Chastain, Director of Alumni Relations, said. “His passion is to have people fall madly in love with Christ, and be completely sold out to what Christ calls His church to be.”

During the event, there will also be eight “Edtalks,” focused on the value of each academic school, and what each is trying to accomplish. The eight guest speakers for these talks are all Johnson alumni that are either graduates of or work in a vocation related to each of the eight academic schools.

Despite being online, this year’s Homecoming has a lot to offer for alumni. Johnson University encourages its community to join online for this three day event.
