KNOXVILLE – On April 12 at 7 p.m., Johnson University’s Student Government Association will be hosting its second Coffeehouse event for the Spring 2021 semester.
The event will take place outside the Athletic Recreational Complex. This means students will have direct access to the café for coffee, smoothies, and other refreshments. SGA’s Social Activities Committee has selected a Summer Vibes theme that both performers and other attendees are encouraged to participate in.
“And so I think that’s what’s so special about Coffee House is that it’s a chance for anybody even if they’re not a worship or a music major and not planning on going into that long term, it’s just a chance for them to show off their skills in a really casual, low key but fun environment,” said Emily Hudelson, a member of the Social Activities Committee.
According to Hudelson, this event is an opportunity for attendees and performers to relieve stress and spend time with their classmates.
Unlike the previous Coffeehouse hosted earlier in the semester, this one will not include a club fair.
